INFORMATION & SUPPORT
Privacy Policy
The Framework is designed to separate public website content from private participant information and access-controlled experiences.
Information You Provide
Depending on how you use the site, information you provide may include an email address, account information, assessment responses, and video or audio recordings submitted through recording-based experiences.
Questions Without an Account
You can complete the introductory questions without signing up. We save your selected answers, the questions shown, progress, and completion status privately on our servers. A random code stored in your browser lets you return to your answers on the same browser. A local copy supports recovery after a connection interruption. Clearing browser storage or changing devices may prevent us from recognizing that response.
Authorized administrators can review these responses. A response may be associated with your account if you later use the same browser code while signed in. Reported connection information and an anonymous traffic-session identifier may be retained for security and traffic analysis.
Website Access and Security
We record page paths, visit times, an anonymous browser-session identifier, access decisions, and IP addresses when supplied by our hosting services. Signed-in activity is associated with the account. We use these records for traffic statistics, investigating misuse, and account or connection restrictions. These records are available only to administrators. IP addresses describe network connections, not verified identity or a physical address. Traffic tracking does not store page query parameters or assessment answers.
Member Activity and Notifications
Signed-in activity records include visits, successful sign-ins, post views, full-post opens, estimated active reading time, audio or video playback time, playback position, and completion indicators. These records are linked to the account and are visible to authorized administrators. Reading time measures active on-screen use and does not establish that all content was read. External podcast applications do not report actual listening time to this website.
Inactivity emails are enabled when an account first uses this tracking feature and can be turned off through notification preferences or an email unsubscribe link. An inactivity reminder is sent after 24 hours away, with no repeat for the same absence. Optional SMS reminders require a separate affirmative signup and phone verification. We record the number, consent text and timestamp, verification status, time zone, and message delivery status. You may disable SMS in preferences or reply STOP. Email and SMS providers process the information necessary to deliver messages.
The browser may temporarily retain a limited queue of unsent activity metrics to retry after a connection interruption. It does not contain passwords, private post text, assessment answers, or recordings. Pending metrics are retried only for the matching signed-in account and expire after 24 hours.
How Information Is Used
Information may be used to provide and maintain the requested experience, save participant progress, deliver account or challenge notifications, respond to requests, protect the service, and improve site functionality. Redacted Before Dawn does not sell participant information.
Private Experiences
Assessment responses, participant dashboards, recordings, and other access-controlled participant materials are not intended to be public search content. Certain features may present additional consent or privacy language before participation.
Service Providers and Legal Requirements
Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the website and related services. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or enforce applicable terms.
Retention and Choices
Information is retained as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, protect the platform, and meet applicable obligations. For privacy requests or questions, email m@theframework.org.
This privacy notice describes general website practices. Feature-specific consent or privacy language may provide additional terms for a particular Redacted Before Dawn experience.
